Go to me, the mother that is growing this little human being.
So, naming advice = No thank you. We've done pretty well so far, so don't anyone worry about this little guy :) We won't name him Ralph.
And yes, Dan does have a say in it, his opinion is the only one that matters <3

I Guess Medical Science Can't Tell Us Everything..
Will had an appointment with his Endo Doctor yesterday. This appointment was actually part of the whole 'starting Growth Hormones' process. It's a very long process....it's exhausting to be honest with you.
Anyway, we've been coping with a child who hasn't been able to grow at an appropriate rate. Will turned 5 in January, and weighs just 32 pounds. He's been this way since before birth, so it has been a mystery to us of why he can't grow.
Yesterday, he had to be weighed and measured. This can be a little nerve-wracking for most parents, but for parents like this, it is very nerve-wracking. We usually hear, 'no growth'. It is stressful.
But to my utter surprise, Will had grown an inch in height and a pound in weight in just three months.
*Blink, Blink*!
We haven't seen that amount of growth out of him for.....well, I don't think we ever have.
Don't get me wrong, he is still tiny. He's only in the 2% for height and he is not even on the chart for weight.
My point is, we've always been told by his Endo that he'll never be able to grow at a 'normal rate' and that he will always been tiny.
Maybe yesterday, he proved his Endo wrong.
Oh! But we are still doing Growth Hormones :)

The Thing About Maternity Clothes
They suck. It's probably the only thing about pregnancy that I hate. And what I think is funny is when companies try to make maternity clothes fashionable. Seriously? Oh! And to top it off, those maternity shirts with sayings on the front are the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Who exactly needs to wear a maternity shirt that says "Baby Bump", or, "Due in July". Good god, what are we 5?
So, here's the thing, i am just about 22 weeks and I am not wearing maternity clothes yet. I am still wearing "normal people" jeans and shirts. But, I know in the next three weeks, I will have to start wearing them, so I went to Motherhood. I found a few (plain) tank tops and that's about it. I couldn't even find plain white panties. Everything has to have immature prints all over it *rolling eyes*.
I had luck at Old Navy (thank god), so I feel set. Oh! And let me just add that the only good thing about summer are Old Navy flip-flops (and air conditioning). I buy like a dozen pairs.

Please Explain This To Me
Okay, here's the thing about some mother's that really get to me. I'm the type of mother that will tell you exactly how things are around my house. I don't sugar-coat things, I don't make my kids out to be more than they are. I have my opinions on a lot, and I totally get that what works in my house, doesn't work for everyone. And that's okay, I don't judge others because I may do things differently.
I do however, have a problem with parents who are hypocrites.
For example, the other day, Jack invited a friend over after school. They watched "Tom and Jerry" and went to play outside.
The next day, the mother of this little boy told me that they don't allow their children to watch "Tom and Jerry" because it is too violent.
"Okay", I thought to myself. To each their own.
UNTIL, this SAME mother asked if Jack (our eight year old) could come over and watch "Lord of the Rings" with them. WhAt??!!
Was she serious???!!!!
"Tom and Jerry" is too violent, but "Lord of the Rings" is just fine.
Please explain to me the difference.....
Like I said, I can't stand hypocrites....

The Stock Market and Obama
If you know anything about the stock market and from the little *I care* to know about Obama, this is not a love affair and the stock market is telling us A LOT.
Are you listening to what the market has to say?
Feel free to discuss.
