Ohhh Aunt Kathleen.....

This is one of the super cute outfits that Aunt Kathleen, Uncle Mark, Matt, Chris, and Abby sent for Evan. Aunt Kathleen was worried that he would grow out of it quickly, but we are happy to report that he has plenty of room and will be able to wear it many more times (he swims in the 3 month outfit)! He wore this outfit yesterday like a champ!

Brand Spankin' New

Meet Evan. He was born July 13th at 2:17pm weighing 7lbs 15oz and 20 1/2 inches long. He is an angel-such a good baby. We are in love.

The Call Came...

...At 5:20am this morning.

We have to be at the hospital at 7:30am.

Wish us luck for a happy, healthy baby.

Last Day of Being Pregnant..

Tomorrow, our 6th baby arrives.

My nerves are shot. I haven't slept much in the past 2 days.

We dropped the kiddos off at my parents house this afternoon, and while I know they are having a fabulous time, our house is now too quiet for me to handle. I miss them a lot.

Dan and I are going out to dinner tonight. It's going to be a lot of fun. The next time I post, it will be all about Evan.

Oh! And let me add that I'm not sad about not being pregnant anymore. I am so ready to start a new chapter!

Lots of new things to look forward to. A new baby...what could be more wonderful?

In Just A Few Days...

...Our new baby will be here. And, I am very proud to say that we are all ready for his arrival!

The house is going to get a hard core scrub down and I have to do my normal weekly grocery shopping, but other than that, we are in really good shape.

OH! And how could I forget that I am going to get my nails done on Saturday afternoon and I am so excited!! I am going to my favorite spa and it's been a while, so I am looking forward to a little peace and quiet!

My 37 week appointment was this afternoon and all is well. We are all set for Monday and my Doctor is confident that everything will go smoothly *fingers crossed*.

I can't believe we are getting ready to meet our new baby. The weeks have flown by!

Headed In The Right Direction...

Today was a big day for us!

First, let me be the first to welcome the van home after its two week long 'hospital' stay. It has a brand new engine, so I am guessing it is fixed. It started and drove home. Like I said, step in the right direction.

Second, *I think* the a/c is actually finally fixed. I could try to explain to you all what was wrong with it, but I have found over the past few years that these units are a lot more complicated than they should be.

The baby arrives in just seven days. So much to do around the house. But, at least now I don't have to stress....the big things are behind us.
