A Little Late

Our 35lb Bulldog turned two July 13th. He rocks our world, but is the coolest little boy that walks (or runs) the earth.

Another Day Passes By...

Evan is not 8 months yet, he is already crawling all over the place (crawling since

6.5 months), has four teeth, and for the past almost two weeks can pull himself up on just about anything. I have this strange feeling that he will be walking by 10.5 months. In fact, I would put money on it.

Where Did The Past Six Months Go?

Evan fell asleep on Sam before we left for school yesterday morning. Brotherly love is a serious thing around our house! Evan turned six months today and I just found him in the living room on his hands and knees rocking back and forth. Traditionally, all of our kids were early walkers-all walking well before twelve months, so I have a feeling Evan will be the same way!

Evan At Five Months

The Weeks Fly By...

Happy 5 month Birthday, Evan. It still feels as if you were just born yesterday.

Stroke City

So last night Evan had, to what appeared to be, a 10-15 second seizure. I almost hit the floor. It was so scary to watch. I had laid him on my lap to nurse him and his head and left leg just started...how do I describe it.....jerking.

So Meg freaks. Big time.

When the night was said and done, The Doctor isn't sure whether he had a seizure, or if it was due to his immature neuro system.

We now have to really watch him and call the pediatrician every time this happens (or let's just pray that is doesn't because it's pretty messed up to watch).

Good god, I am going to be completely gray by the time this child is five years old.

Six Weeks and Still Sweet as Sugar..

Snuggling in bed with Mommy this morning. This is one of my favorite times of the day. He would sleep all day curled up next to me if I let him...

Sleeping in the bouncer this afternoon. The amazing thing about being the 6th child is that you have the amazing ability to sleep through anything. When I took this picture, Libby was jumping on the couch singing at the top of her lungs and Anne was crying. Evan didn't move a muscle. This child is truly one of a kind....

Evan's Two Week Weight Check..

...Was today, his official due date!

By two weeks, babies should be back to their birth weight. Evan weighed 7lbs 15oz when he was born. He left the hospital weighing 7lbs 8oz. Today, he weighed in at 8lbs 8oz.

!!!!!

I make super milk apparently.

He received a perfect bill of health, so we are super happy. Our pediatrician said he is a sweetheart with really cool hair (both totally true, so see, I am not biased!)

Who Would Have Thought?

For all of the past many months, I was so sure that this baby would end up being a hippo just like Anne. I've worried a lot, lost some sleep and pretty much prepared myself for the fact that my uterus has just given up and would let this baby grow to be 10lbs.

So you can imagine my surprise when I went in for my 33 week appointment the baby is now measuring just *a bit* over 32 weeks (and i turned 33 weeks today).

Silly me, all of this time I was worried about a big baby, and watch, this baby will end up being a tiny little thing just like the Wood-man.

I'm not allowed to work past the 30th of June, so that will be a nice few week break before Evan arrives. My next ultrasound is at my 36 week visit. My blood pressure was good today (122/84), my swelling sucks, I forgot to pee in the cup, and I think I'm just a few pounds shy of Shamu. All in all, good visit.

Just about 5 weeks left. This is so exciting.
